Terms of service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, and online services operated by Veedma Inc. ("Veedma," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Veedma provides technology and administrative support for telehealth and wellness services delivered by an independent professional entity, AYA PCs ("Medical Provider"). Veedma does not itself provide medical services or practice medicine. All medical care is the sole responsibility of the Medical Provider and its licensed clinicians.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to use the services. Service availability varies by state, and Veedma may add or remove states from coverage as provider licensure and state regulations change. Specific state availability is confirmed during the assessment process. By using the services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is true and accurate.
Telehealth consent
Our telehealth informed consent is published as a separate document. Multiple states require it to be distinguishable from these general Terms; every patient receiving telehealth services acknowledges it before treatment and re-acknowledges annually.
Medical provider relationship
All medical and clinical services are provided by AYA PCs. Veedma Inc. does not direct, supervise, or control the practice of medicine. Any questions about medical care or treatment plans should be directed to AYA PCs at 1 Mid America Plaza 3rd Floor #5031, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
Free clinical review
Veedma offers a free clinical review of patient-uploaded lab results through veedma.com/upload-labs. The free review is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It does not establish a patient-provider relationship, does not constitute medical diagnosis or treatment, and does not require enrollment in a paid subscription. This review may not identify all relevant medical conditions and should not be used as a substitute for in-person medical evaluation. Patients who wish to proceed to treatment must complete a separate consultation with a licensed provider.
Account registration
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Payments and refunds
Certain services require payment. Prices and fees are displayed at the time of purchase. By providing your payment information, you authorize Veedma (or its payment processor) to charge your selected payment method.
Except where prohibited by California law, fees are nonrefundable once services are rendered.
No charge unless prescribed. When you select a plan at checkout, your total due is $0. We securely store your payment method and charge it only if a licensed provider approves you and issues a prescription. If no prescription is issued, because a provider determines that treatment is not right for you or you decide not to proceed, you are not charged for your plan. Lab testing purchased through Veedma is a separate payment and is non-refundable, as it covers lab work and clinical analysis already performed.
If Veedma cancels an order or cannot deliver a paid service, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Some services are available through subscriptions that automatically renew each billing period until canceled. You authorize recurring charges at the then-current rate.
California auto-renewal law compliance: Before completing your purchase, you will see a clear disclosure of the auto-renewal terms. You will receive an email confirmation with cancellation instructions and, if applicable, a renewal reminder at least 30 days before renewal.
You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing contact us. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Long-term plans billed when prescribed. No charge is made at checkout; you are charged only if a licensed provider prescribes treatment. When a prescription is issued, Quarterly, Semi-annual, and Annual subscription plans are billed in full for the entire commitment period. If you cancel a long-term plan before the commitment period ends, the months you have used will be recalculated at the standard monthly rate ($179 per month at the time of writing). The difference between the amount you paid and the recalculated total will be refunded to your original payment method, typically within 3 to 5 business days. The standard monthly rate is subject to change; the rate in effect on the cancellation date will be used.
Price match guarantee
If you find a comparable plan from another telehealth provider at a lower total cost, Veedma will match that price and apply an additional 20% discount. To qualify as comparable, the competing plan must include the same scope of care over a one-year period:
- the same types of daily medication with the full range of doses;
- an advanced lab panel matching Veedma's initial lab panel in both methods and biomarkers, performed twice per year;
- video consultations and follow-up reviews with a licensed provider;
- unlimited messaging with a care team;
- free shipping.
Requests must be submitted through the contact form with documentation of the competing offer (such as a screenshot, link, or written quote) dated within 30 days of the request. Veedma reviews each request individually and reserves the right to determine whether the criteria are met.
This is a Veedma commercial offer, separate from the clinical services provided by AYA PCs. Veedma may modify, suspend, or discontinue this offer at any time, with notice posted on veedma.com/pricing.
No-show and late cancellation
If you miss a scheduled telehealth appointment or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, you may be charged a no-show fee of $20 unless prohibited by law.
SMS terms
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Veedma related to your account, appointments, and services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can text STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Support is available at contact us. Consent to receive text messages is not required for using the service.
Intellectual property
All content and materials available through the service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Veedma or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content except as permitted by these Terms or with Veedma's prior written consent.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, misrepresent your identity or health information, interfere with the service or its security, or attempt unauthorized access to the system. Veedma reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
Disclaimers
Veedma provides its services "as is" and "as available." Veedma does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Veedma makes no warranties regarding medical outcomes, and any reliance on information provided through the service is at your own risk.
All medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment are provided solely by licensed clinicians affiliated with AYA PCs.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veedma Inc., its affiliates, and their officers, directors, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Veedma's total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the applicable service during the six months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veedma, AYA PCs, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.
Arbitration agreement
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
The arbitration will take place in San Francisco County, California. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by contacting us within 30 days of accepting these Terms.
You and Veedma agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, not as part of any class or representative proceeding.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action permitted outside arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California.
