Editorial policy

How we create, review, and maintain health content at Veedma.

Our mission

Veedma publishes evidence-based men's health content to help men make informed decisions about testosterone, hormones, longevity, fitness, and sexual health. Our goal is to separate diagnosis from hype and give readers the clinical context they need before talking to a doctor.

How we write

Our editorial team uses AI-assisted research tools to draft articles. Every draft goes through a structured process before publication:

  1. Research and drafting. Articles are drafted using AI tools that pull from medical literature, clinical guidelines, and peer-reviewed studies. The AI assists with research synthesis, not with clinical judgment.
  2. Medical review. Every article is reviewed for medical accuracy by Vladimir Kotlov, MD, urologist, CEO and founder of Veedma. He verifies clinical claims, dosage thresholds, diagnostic criteria, and treatment recommendations.
  3. Quality checks. Automated validators check for AI-generated filler language, unsupported claims, sentence repetition, and promotional bias in clinical sections. Articles that fail these checks are revised before publication.

Evidence standards

We use major clinical guidelines and higher-quality evidence as the backbone of our content:

  • European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines
  • American Urological Association (AUA) diagnostic framework
  • Endocrine Society clinical practice guidelines
  • Randomized controlled trials (e.g., TRAVERSE, Testosterone Trials)
  • European Male Ageing Study (EMAS) population data
  • PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed studies

All clinical articles include inline citations linked to PubMed. We prioritize systematic reviews and randomized trials over observational studies and expert opinion. When evidence is limited or conflicting, we say so explicitly.

What we do not do

  • We do not diagnose or treat any individual. Our content is educational.
  • We do not recommend treatments outside established clinical guidelines.
  • We do not accept sponsored content or allow advertisers to influence editorial decisions.
  • We do not use promotional language in clinical sections of articles.

Article types

We publish three types of content:

  • Knowledge base articles are deep-dive clinical guides covering specific conditions, tests, and treatments with full references. They are authored by Vladimir Kotlov, MD.
  • Hub pages are topic overviews that link to related knowledge base articles, giving readers a structured entry point into a subject.
  • Blog posts are written by Veedma's editorial team using AI-assisted research and medically reviewed by Vladimir Kotlov, MD. They cover fitness, nutrition, supplements, longevity, and men's health topics with a practical, evidence-based approach.

Corrections and updates

Medical knowledge evolves. We review published articles periodically and update them when new evidence changes clinical recommendations. If you find an error or have a correction, contact us and we will review it promptly.

Medical reviewer
